The Living Assistance Fund is designed to provide financial aid to organ transplant recipients to reduce their stress during the difficult medical procedures of transplantation and the healing process. We do this by paying for basic living necessities like housing, medication and transportation to the hospital. Our Living Assistance Fund offers financial support to transplant patients for the following expenses:

  • Prescription Medication Copay
  • Transportation to Treatment Facility
  • Basic Housing Needs including rent or mortgage payment
  • Utilities such as electricity and gas

Due to restrictions that came from Covid 19, we moved all of our support group meetings online with Zoom. We remained on-line because it provided a great opportunity to stay in touch with recipients who had their transplant surgeries in AZ but have since returned home. We meet every Thursday at 7pm and share stories, talk about issues and have conversations about transplant life, good, bad and ugly! Every week is something different. The goal is to stay connected! Please call 602-277-2661 or email info@TransplantAZ.org to register and receive the Zoom meeting link.

The mission of Team Arizona is to support organ donor awareness by demonstrating the effectiveness of the transplantation process to increase the number of registered organ, eye, and tissue donations in the state of Arizona through public education.

We assist our team members with the costs associated with participation at the Transplant Games of America and World Transplant Games where we celebrate our newfound health to bring attention to the success of transplantation and honor the memory of donors and donor families.

Our members are active in the community by participating in community events, organized activities and educational programs that benefit the transplant community by staying in touch with current topics and resources. Our active membership allows TCA to sustain its work and presence in the ever changing world of transplant.
